Overview
ElevateU is a new wellness program at Ferris State University. This program utilizes an existing program/platform called YOU@College which provides the wellness web platform but allows schools to give it their own brand to market at school.

Objective
Within the last semester of the school year, select a name, develop a logo, brand system, and collateral possibilities for the Ferris Wellness Program.

The team utilized Miro to word list and explore colors. We did this to explore names for the wellness program. In doing this it allowed us to bounce off of each other’s words and funnel down our broad terms to more sophisticated and impactful possibilities.

We landed on two names, YOUniversity Wellness and ElevateU. We explored how these could look as logos with different visual concepts attached to them. This is what we landed on

Refining the Logo

I rounded and increased the weight of the arrow to helped it to match the weight and style of the typeface. I also altered where the twist in the arrow begins.

I made this change so that it appeared less dramatic and more gradual, aligning with the idea that wellness is gradual and progressive.
